On any new mammography technology, such as breast tomosynthesis, the Mammography Quality Standards Act requires that all health care professionals obtain eight hours of training prior to using new mammography technology on patients.
There are a variety of training options available in this section for radiologists, technologists and medical physicists to meet their training requirements.

| Real World Tomo - Digital Breast Tomosynthesis: An Intensive Case Review - March 8, 2012:
This 1 hour program is being offered by ICPME on March 8, 2012 at 6:00pm EST. This activity will be presented by Jules Sumkin, MD and Margarita Zuley, MD In this one- hour live webinar, Dr. Sumkin and Zuley will present multiple pathology-proven case studies that compare views of traditional mammography to DBT.Physicians: PIM designates this activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit (tm) . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their
