The Abdominal Pillow helps to ease the patient further into the opening of the table, while providing support for your patient's abdomen and hips. This is also designed to be used with the Maximum Access and Arm-Through tabletop pads.
WEDGE PILLOW
The Wedge Pillow is recommended for any procedures where it is possible to slightly oblique your patient.
HEAD PILLOW
The Head Pillows are used for additional head support. They may also be used to support pressure points to other parts of your patient's body where and when it's needed.

The Standard Aperture provides a 9 inch diameter opening and can be used with most stereotactic biopsy procedures and body types. The rubber edge gives your patient more comfort, and gives you more flexibility in positioning.

The Arm-Through Aperture is to be used in conjunction with the arm-through tabletop pad. The larger opening provides better positioning, targeted pressure points for patient comfort, and an improved arm-through procedure. This new aperture gives you better access to lesions located near the axilla.

The Maximum Comfort Tabletop Pad is for patients with more anterior lesions. Its construction is similar to the Standard Tabletop Pad, with a defined head and hip side, targeted pressure point cushioning, but with an added layer of soft foam cushioning.

The Arm-through Tabletop Pad is to be used in conjunction with the arm-through aperture. These pads may be combined with the head and abdominal pillows for maximum support and comfort during an arm-through procedure.
You can have Maximum Comfort Too
All current MultiCare Platinum tables can be upgraded with the Maximum Comfort Package. The upgrade takes approximately half a day, but does not require a physicist evaluation since the changes do not impact the imaging chain. The upgrade includes a replacement of the metal tabletop, as well as attaching a metal ledge to cover the wires on the back of the table and enables technologists and nurses to move closer to the patient. The top of the rear pillar, which raises and lowers the table, will be replaced by a curved top with a cushion to provide additional comfort for the patient's opposite arm during the procedure.
