With the acquisition of BioLucent and the completion of the merger with Cytyc this October, Hologic will have more than doubled in size in 12 months. After the Cytyc merger, Hologic will hold the number one position in nine technology areas serving women's health, including breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, cervical cancer screening, prenatal testing, and osteoporosis detection.
At RSNA'07, we'll continue to demonstrate our focus to enhance women's health through earlier and better detection, improved diagnosis, less invasive treatments, and improved patient outcomes. And with the Cytyc merger, the company plans to aggressively bring the radiology community new products - like MammoSite, targeted radiation therapy.
