Performance Data

The Panther Fusion system can process up to 335 Panther Fusion tests in 8 hours. Combine Panther Fusion and Aptima assays and process up to 500 tests in 8 hours. The Panther Fusion system features PCR capability in addition to proven TMA and real-time TMA assays.

The reaction tube takes approximately 3.5 hours to journey through the system for TMA assays, approximately 2.7 hours for real-time assays,* and 2.4 hours for Panther Fusion assays. Every 5 minutes, 5 additional results are generated. With its impressive level of automation, the design should help improve the efficiency of a typical 8-hour workday, with up to 4 hours of result processing labor-free. The Panther system will continue generating results unattended, providing the maximized productivity that molecular labs need and have been waiting for.
