Clinical images that enable doctors to see more.
With osteoporosis causing more than 8.9 million fractures annually, early detection is key to keeping patients safe.
That’s why we ensure that our clinical images enable doctors to see more so they can make more informed diagnoses and treatment decisions in time to have a positive impact on every patient’s health and well-being.
We set the gold standard for bone densitometry in 1987 with the first dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) system. Today, we continue to take bone health to new heights, with the Horizon® DXA platform, which assesses osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease and obesity.
The Horizon® DXA system provides detailed measurements of the body by looking at bone density, lean mass, and fat mass. This information is critical for accurately assessing the state of a patient or athlete’s health and defining successful treatment plans and training programs.
We’re raising the bar for fluoroscopy imaging as well with our CMOS flat detector and its exclusive rotating capabilities.
